Bounty Killer Charged with Assault-AGAIN

The Story:

Dancehall Deejay Bounty Killer, was two weeks ago charged with assault and unlawful wounding of his girlfriend of three years, Raquel Smith. Reports are that he used a hammer, chain and bottle of mosquito repellent to beat her. Police also reported that Smith was badly wounded and bruised when she appeared at the station to make the report.

Bounty Killer was granted bail of $500, 000 this morning when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrates Court. He is slated to return to court on November 9, 2010.



My Views
Now really. This is not the first time that Bounty Killer has been arrested and charged for assault, and of a girlfriend no less. Come on Raquel, did you think that the last girl he was with was just running her mouth off when she went to the police to report him, or were you fooled by the fact that she had dropped the charges against him. I don't know what other warning you could possibly need than that. The man called his ex-girlfriend to threaten her life in front of police officers while he was in jail; he's nicknamed himself "The Warlord". Its as if you needed Jesus to come down off the cross surrounded by white doves and shining lights and smack you over the head!

And Bounty, a hammer, a chain and a (i had a hard time not laughing when i heard this part) a bottle of mosquito repellent?! Really? What the hell is going on in your twisted brain exactly. It Kinda sounds to me like Kinky sex gone bad. That's where my mind keeps going because for the life of me I cannot understand it.

In any case, women need to be careful of the men they get involved with. Domestic abuse is real ladies. Chances are, if a man has been charged numerous times for abusing previous partners, or for abusing ladies in general, you are not going to be the exception. Take your safety seriously. Be smart. I really hope Ms. Smith does not drop the charges against him. He clearly needs to understand that this is not something he can get away with.
