The Story
Performing artiste ,Pressure (Delyno Brown), who was slated to perform at Irie Jamborie in New York, some days ago, was asked by the promoters/organisers . Reports are that Pressure, wasn't pleased with the amount of time he was given to perform and ended up in some kind of argument with the organisers of the show. Well the organisers, it seems, did not take likely to this kind of "disrespect" and actually thrown out of the venue.
Some sources also suggest that Pressure has been banned from New York by some, well "heavy hitters/rollers" in the area.
My Views
Well, Pressure, seriously, what to do about something like that. You haffi respect the people, and them things. If what is reported is true, then I'm rather disappointed but somehow not too shocked or surprised about what happened. Although I'm not particularly "in the know" about what kind of person the artiste is, I'm just no longer surprised by anything any artiste does. They seem to be more and more erratic, and irresponsible, careless even "stupid" nowadays.
In any case, things don't look to pretty Pressure, Love and Affection can't only be for the ladies, spread some love boss.
The whole being banned from New York thing now. Hmmm, I don't know how that go. I can't imagine that Pressure could possibly have acted so badly that anybody of such consequence to be described as "heavy" (according to one source) would give a damn about him. Bigger artistes, in terms of popularity and also in terms of their reputations as "bad man", I've never heard of being banned from anywhere in that manner. So I'm rather sceptical about this being banned thing. Unless of course Pressure a gwann with things bigger than what we know about. Nehoo...That's the news on the street.
