Barbee VS D'Angel

The Story

D'Angel's Husband, mega artiste Beenie Man was apparently "caught in the act" being quite chummy with artiste Barbee at Reggae Sumfest 2007. The Star printed pictures of the alleged act in its Tuesday syndication. When D'Angel was contacted for comment her responses suggested that she couldn't not care less what her husband does when he is on the road. According to D'Angel, her child is the most important thing right now and what "they" do is their business.

My Views

My Husband outa road a hug up with other woman and my comment is (According to The Star) " I don't know her or dem and dem life. A me and my child, and me a try raise him di best way possible". Hmmm, this could not be coming out the same mouth of a woman who less than a year ago was saying "I do". D'Angel, come on. Could you have sounded any more jaded. When i read the article i had to re-read it because as far as I'm concerned she sounded like she could not care any less; A very nonchalant shrug type of attitude. D'Angel's philosophy is to leave such things alone...interesting is all i can say. Whatever works for you my dear.

Beenie man...his response to the whole thing is...he went out to have a good time and he danced with different women and Barbee was no different. According to him, they just happened to "catch" him in that particular set of pictures. I get the feeling neither of the two really cares about their marriage. Either that or they are trying to tell Jamaica to mind their own business. Which I personally think is not such a bad idea. The press will always be the press. People in the lime light will always be involved in scandals. If you find a strategy that works for you, that helps you to keep your sanity, then work with it.
